Some very early tables and a little more stone platforms used by Egyptians to keep objects off the ground. Seat of the people, they were not used. Food and beverages are usually placed on a pedestal to eat. The Egyptians used a variety of small tables and elevated slabs. China also has a table early on, in order to pursue the art of writing and painting. The Greeks and Romans used the table more frequently, especially to eat, although the Greek table pressed under the bed after use. The Greeks invented a very similar Gueridon piece of furniture. Table marble or wood and metal (usually copper or silver alloys) made, sometimes rich in gorgeous legs. Later, the generous table was independent of the platform and Pillar. The Romans also launched a large number of semicircular tables of Italian, leaf spots.
